PUPPY-PLAY

For the love of playing, how far can we direct and allow ourselves to be directed?
How far can we consent?
Are there limits, perhaps slippery ones?
Can we exceed them, or even reverse them?
And to what degree is the audience complicit, active or passive?

PUPPY-PLAY is an agility performance in which Dylan Poletti is up to anything to embody the desire of his director, Nina Negri.

In the era of #MeToo and the deluge of testimonies of abuse in performing arts, Dylan and Nina explore different temporalities of violence, challenging and subverting the mechanisms of power and domination inherent in the director/actor relationship.
